When does my subscription start?

Using the best fresh ingredients in your meals means that we need to source based on the number of orders we receive weekly.

Order by Sunday 11pm to receive delivery the following Saturday. The exact date of your first delivery will be displayed during the subscription process, and you can choose to start your subscription at a later date.

How much do meal plans cost?

We offer the flexibility of choosing how many days per week you would like to eat Fuel meals, how many meals per day you wish to receive, and how long would you like to stay on your plan for. This tailoring also involves changes in pricing to suit your needs, yet generally our meal plan prices will range between £6.99 - £8.99 per meal.

Can I change my plan?

Yes, we’re here to support you on your fitness journey, so if your priorities change you can contact our customer team on and we will make the transition as easy as possible.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes. We understand the unpredictability of an active, busy life, so if an unmissable opportunity comes up and you need to miss a Fuel delivery, let our customer team know on and we’ll accommodate your request.

How do you keep meals fresh during delivery?

For delivery, we utilise bespoke premium outer cases to provide solid protection to meal boxes. The meal boxes themselves include an innovative triple card insulation layer.

We also pack more ice into each box than the industry standard, in fully recyclable plastic pouches - we are continuously looking for alternatives that could remove the plastic element.

Maintaining freshness is why we do not cover every inch of the UK, since at the moment we couldn't guarantee fresh meals in remote areas that take longer to reach.

Where do you deliver?

At the moment we don't deliver to a few very remote areas in the UK, to ensure that customers receiving our meals are getting them in the freshest, best condition possible.

When do you deliver?

Our standard delivery takes place on Saturdays.

What happens if I’m not home when my delivery arrives?

We ask you to leave special delivery instructions to our team during the subscription process, so when you're not home we will leave your package at the safe place of your choice. Since we're delivering fresh food, it's not possible for us to attempt a re-delivery for now. Alternatively, you can contact our customer team at to pause your subscription in advance.

Can I cancel or delay a delivery?

Yes. We understand the unpredictability of an active, busy life, so if an unmissable opportunity comes up and you need to miss a Fuel delivery, let our customer team know on and we’ll accommodate your request.

Do your meals contain gluten?

The meals in our meal plan ranges do not contain gluten.

Do you use any preservatives or additives?

Our meals are made using fresh, wholefood ingredients specially selected to contribute to your ideal body composition - no nasties allowed.

Do you cater for food allergies?

As part of our meal plans service, we offer you the chance to exclude ingredients that might not suit your dietary requirements. Our retail range and café foods also display allergen and ingredients information on the packaging, so you are always aware of what makes your meal.

Allergens in use in our kitchens are: peanuts, nuts, sesame, fish, crustaceans, molluscs, egg, milk, mustard, celery, soya, sulphites, lupin, cereals containing gluten.

Do you have vegetarian, vegan, or pescatarian options?

Yes. With a wide variety of over 180+ recipes, we can suit your dietary requirements with many different, delicious dishes. Because we understand that a specific diet shouldn’t mean repetitive, boring meals.

Where can I find ingredients and nutritional information for your meals?

All ingredients, allergens, and nutritional information for your meals is displayed on the packaging.

Are your meals delivered frozen?

No. All of your meals are delivered fresh, so you can enjoy their texture, flavour and aromas in their optimal condition, and have a shelf life of up to 7 days.

Can I eat my meals cold?

Our meals are delivered cooked and fresh, so you can eat them cold if your preference. However, some dishes -such as our tasty beef rendang- are best enjoyed hot, and heating instructions will be displayed on the packaging.

How should I store my meals?

Once delivered, you should store your meals in the fridge, and they can be consumed until the end of their shelf life.

How long will my meals last?

Fuel meals are delivered fresh and have a production + shelf life of up to 7 days.

What is your stance on sustainability?

We understand the importance of caring for the environment, and we're continuously looking for ways to carry out our duties responsibly. We work hard to reduce the use of fossil-fuel-based and single-use plastics, and seek to promote the use of recycled materials across our supply chain. Where possible we actively substitute materials with more environmentally friendly alternatives, like bioplastic products that reduce the overall carbon footprint by 75% vs traditional plastics. Some examples of our sustainability efforts are:


  • Your subscription meal trays are made from biodegradable pulp that is 95% plastic-free and can be put into paper recycling. We're constantly looking for a viable alternative that removes the plastic element, if you know of any, let us know!
  • These meal trays come with 2 thin recyclable plastic films. The films can be peeled off and are widely recycled with normal plastic recycling.
  • The plastic pouches we use for ice are fully recyclable, and we recently launched a free "return to reuse" service for our customers.
  • Our chilled delivery boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard and are 100% recyclable.
  • We have introduced home compostable void fill packaging that is made out of potato peels.

We have changed our delivery schedule to once per week, which has significantly reduced packaging and halves the number of our vehicle journeys on the road.  

What are your policies on animal welfare?

From the quality of our ingredients to the ways we grow Fuel, we strive to make the right choices to develop our company in a sustainable way. We are passionate about the food we serve and ensure our customers get the best possible meals by monitoring and continuously seeking to improve our British based suppliers. The quality of our ingredients, sustainable farming practices, and welfare standards of animals within the wider supply chain are very important to us. This is why we only work with like-minded suppliers who are committed to sustainable and ethical practices.

All wild-caught fish in our meals comes from Marine Stewardship Council certified fisheries. The MSC Fisheries standard is a leading international certification programme that is independently audited and focuses on sustainable levels of fishing, environmental impact of the operation and ensures responsible management practices are followed. And we only use farmed stock when it complies with Global GAP Aquaculture standard — a globally recognised standard that covers best practice from animal welfare within the supply chain to environmental and ecological aspects.

Our organic Meat & Poultry range is reared to Soil Association standards and enjoys a healthy feed of home-grown organic cereals and grass. Whilst not all of our meat is organic, we do require that all our non-organic meat supply fulfils recognised animal welfare and sustainable farming practices of Red Tractor certification or equivalent EU standards. Practical examples of these standards are prohibiting the unnecessary use of antibiotics, minimising transport times, and farms to voluntarily provide chickens with larger living areas than national regulations would require.

What does the ECC (European Chicken Commitment) stand for?

By 2026, we will require our suppliers to meet the following requirements for 100% of the [fresh, frozen, and processed] chicken in our supply chain:

1.  Comply with all EU animal welfare laws and regulations, regardless of the country of production.

2.  Implement a maximum stocking density of 30kg/m2 or less. Thinning is discouraged and if practiced must be limited to one thin per flock.

3.  Adopt breeds that demonstrate higher welfare outcomes: either the following breeds, Hubbard Norfolk Black, JA757, 787, 957, or 987, Rambler Ranger, Ranger Classic, and Ranger Gold, or others that meet the criteria of the RSPCA Broiler Breed Welfare Assessment Protocol.

4.  Meet improved environmental standards including:

  • At least 50 lux of light, including natural light.
  • At least two metres of usable perch space, and two pecking substrates, per 1,000 birds.
  • On air quality, the maximum requirements of Annex 2.3 of the EU broiler directive, regardless of stocking density.
  • No cages or multi-tier systems.

5.  Adopt controlled atmospheric stunning using inert gas or multi-phase systems, or effective electrical stunning without live inversion.

6.  Demonstrate compliance with the above standards via third-party auditing and annual public reporting on progress towards this commitment.
